HANNOVER QUAY OPENS AT HARBOURSIDE
Crest Nicholson Regeneration is holding a celebration at Harbourside on Thursday July 3rd from 5pm to 7pm to commemorate the opening of the Hannover Quay Walkway.
For the first time in many years the public will have access to this part of the Harbour Inlet, where Crest Nicholson is now installing pontoons so that boats can be moored and the ferry can stop to pick up and drop off passengers.
Crest Nicholson's Richard Pidgeon said: “The opening of this walkway is a milestone in the redevelopment of Harbourside. It used to form part of the old Rope Walk where ropes were twisted into lengths down from the Rope Works, which were excavated recently and are just behind the Ibis hotel. The ropes were then loaded onto waiting ships”.
Accompanied by a string quartet, party-goers will be able to enjoy a glass of Champagne or Pimms and canapés before the waterside walkway is officially opened. There will then be an opportunity to take a tour around the brand new show apartments in the imposing Crescent building.
Guests will be entered into a free prize draw during the evening to win V.I.P. tickets to Prom on the Close at Clifton College. Crest Nicholson is sponsoring the international singing star Lesley Garrett to appear at Prom on the Close.
