WRAPS COMING OFF THE CRESCENT AT HARBOURSIDE
A stunning new waterside apartment building is being revealed alongside Bristol's historic harbour as the wraps come of The Crescent for the first time.
The Crescent, being built as part of Crest Nicholson's Harbourside area has luxury waterside homes overlooking the city's historic Floating Harbour and just a few steps from the City Centre and Park Street.
Despite being shielded from public view for months as construction went on, more than 140 of the 242 apartments have already been snapped up by people - leaving less than half the total number still available.
The building is on schedule for completion in a year's time and unusually for city centre apartments in Bristol includes basement car parking.
Ian Plumley, Sales & Marketing Director for Crest Nicholson Regeneration said: “The unveiling of this building to the view of the people of Bristol marks another major milestone in the redevelopment of the Canon's Marsh area of the city.
“These apartments are among the most sought-after in Bristol, some have magnificent views of the ss Great Britain and the Floating Harbour and are right in the heart of the city.
“The Crescent building will not be completed until Summer 2009 and will comprise one, two and three bedroom apartments with four magnificent villa-style houses at its centre – all set around a landscaped garden. “
The Crescent is just one of the residential elements in the Harbourside project, which will be an area where people can live, work and play. A Marks and Spencer Simply Food store is now established as the area's “corner shop”, along with a Costa Coffee, Caffe Gusto, an ibis Hotel and a Gala Casino.
Just a few steps away there is a new Fitness First gym and new restaurants, such as Carpe Diem and Jacks Brasserie with more to open later this year as the apartments are occupied.
One-bedroom apartments at The Crescent are selling for between £250,000 and £297,000 and two-bedroom apartments from £322,000 to £405,000.
A managed parking scheme will operate and also a car share club. To register your interest in homes at The Crescent call (0117) 9088888, visit the marketing suite in Cathedral Walk or go to www.harboursidebristol.co.uk
