Return Of Investor Signals Property Market Improvement

02 June 2009

Signs that the property market is showing signs of recovery can be found at Crest Nicholson's Harbourside development in Bristol.

It follows an upturn in activity at the waterside development that has seen an increase in reservations from private investors.

In addition the Crest marketing team has welcomed back investors who have bought before at the prestigious waterside development – a further signal that confidence is returning.

Vicky Dudbridge from selling agents King Sturge said: “The fact that we're getting more enquiries from investors is a clear indication that the property market is showing signs of recovery.

“If those looking to property as an investment weren't confident they would get a return then we certainly wouldn't be getting as many enquiries and reservations as we are.

“To see previous buyers come back is welcome news and shows that confidence is returning to the market.”

And as demand remains robust, work is well underway to fit out the interiors of the latest phase called Ensign.

Vicky added: “With sales as they are means building work can continue which is essential in order to keep up with demand for apartments at Harbourside.

“With reports on the poor state of the property sector hitting the media almost daily this is great news. The fact that we're pushing on with the build clearly demonstrates that the properties at The Crescent are not only priced competitively but ticks a lot of boxes for the discerning house-hunter.

“We are in an enviable location and people realise that this is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a new property right on the water in the heart of the city.”

Perfect Location

And anyone who visits the development will soon realise why the development is proving so popular.

Located right in the heart of Bristol those living at Harbourside not only enjoy the benefits of a stunning new waterside development but all the trappings city centre living brings.

The centre is only a few minutes walk away and there are numerous restaurants and bars close by including The Living Room, Chinese restaurant Zen and Pizza Express.

On top of all the attractions Bristol brings, those with a little more energy can make use of Fitness First health club, while numerous other leisure pursuits are right on the doorstep such as the Gala Casino.

Vicky added: “There is no other development like this in the city and anyone thinking about buying need to do so now as we are fast running out of properties ready to move into now.”
