Free Property Advice Event Provides House Hunters Expert Guidance
03 March 2009
3 March 2009: First time buyers wanting help on how to get their foot on the property ladder will be able to quiz experts from the property sector at a special, free event in Bristol.
Taking place at Crest Nicholson's Harbourside development in the heart of Bristol, on 19 and 21 March, the free independent advice sessions will include legal experts, financial advisors and mortgage specialists who will be on hand to explain in confidence the various processes required when buying a home.
Designed to unscramble all the jargon often associated with buying a property for the first time, it provides a perfect platform for those thinking about buying to take the next step.
Vicky Dudbridge, from property agent King Sturge said: “Although these are tough economic times we recognise that people still want to get on the property ladder or move to a new home and it is these prospective purchasers that will benefit most from this event and the free advice.
“To have freely available experts from the legal and financial sectors is an opportunity that doesn't come about very often and can't be missed, especially if you're thinking of buying.
“It's open to anyone wanting to buy a property so they can see what is possible. We hope it will provide some with the information to make an informative decision on buying.”
In addition to the professional advisors, the Crest Harbourside team will also be available to provide detailed information on the company's EasyBuy scheme which is available at the development.
Available on selected plots the scheme means buyers pay 75% of the purchase price, but still own 100% of the property. The remaining 25% of the price is left outstanding as a loan for up to 10 years*.
In means one-bedroom apartments are available for sale in The Crescent from the Easy Buy price of £138,750 instead of £185,000 with two-bedroom apartments from the Easy Buy price of £172,500 instead of £230,000.
Vicky added: “Buyers and in particular first time buyers are always surprised that buying their own property turns out to be cheaper than renting. It means they not only pay less monthly but enjoy the security that comes with making an investment in their future.”
The two events are taking place on Thursday 19 March from 5.00pm to 7.00pm and Saturday 21 March from 10.00am to 4.00pm at Crest Nicholson's Harbourside marketing suite on Cathedral Walk just off Anchor Road.
